Who HideMyAndroid is for

HideMyAndroid is for anyone who needs several accounts to live on one rooted Android phone without being linked to each other: social media managers, marketplace sellers, ad and affiliate marketers, app testers, and automation developers.

The problem is the same in every case: platforms tie accounts together through the device they share. One profile per account is how HideMyAndroid breaks that link, and the five cases below show what that looks like in practice.

Agencies run client accounts on the same few phones, and a platform that sees one device behind ten brand accounts treats them as one operator. With HideMyAndroid each client gets a profile: separate app data, a separate device identity, and its own proxy. Assign the social apps to the profile in LSPosed, activate it, and work as usual. The free plan covers up to 5 clients; Premium removes the limit and matches GPS, timezone, and locale to each client’s proxy region.

Marketplace and e-commerce sellers

Sellers keep more than one store to separate product lines or to keep a backup store alive, and marketplaces link stores that share a device. A profile per store keeps the seller app’s data, the device fingerprint, and the network path apart, and Device Simulation makes each profile report a different phone model. Premium adds full identifier hiding and SIM information spoofing on top of what Free covers.

Ad and affiliate marketers

Marketers run one ad account per campaign, client, or offer, and a flagged campaign should not take the others down with it. One profile per campaign isolates the ad app’s data and device signals, and a per-profile proxy, with timezone and locale matched to it on Premium, keeps each campaign looking local. Backup and restore lets you save a profile that works and bring it back later, since activating a new profile wipes app data. Quarterly or Yearly plans fit this cycle, and if you refer other marketers the affiliate program pays a share of their purchases.

App testers and QA teams

Testers need to see their app from many device identities, regions, and network conditions without a rack of phones. A profile can present a different device model, Android identifiers, SIM details, locale, timezone, and location, and can route traffic through a proxy in the target country, which is enough to reproduce region-specific behavior on one device. Free covers device simulation; Premium adds the SIM, geo, and browser fingerprint layers.

Automation developers

Developers who script account operations need to create, configure, and switch profiles without tapping through a UI. The Headless API exposes that over ADB: create a profile, set its proxy and spoofing options, pick target apps, activate it, and back it up, all from a shell or a control script. It is Premium-only and needs app 1.2.8 or newer, with backup and restore over the API from 1.5.3; the guide covers authentication, every method, and a full example.

Who it is not for

HideMyAndroid is not for you if your phone is not rooted, if you are on iOS, or if you need a promise that accounts will never be found out. No tool can guarantee zero detection forever. It reduces risk by isolating profiles and keeping device, proxy, and location signals consistent, and that is the honest limit of what it does.
